Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, Director-General of the City Boy Movement (CBM), has defended President Bola Tinubu's economic reforms, saying the administration is addressing long-standing structural distortions. In an interview, Shoga argued that the President deserves commendation for confronting difficult economic challenges previous administrations failed to resolve. He cited growth in foreign reserves, domestic refining, the proposed Gateway Deep Seaport and Olokola maritime corridor, and increased revenues to subnational governments. Shoga said Nigerians should support the consolidation of the reforms beyond 2027.
