Manchester City defeated Liverpool at Anfield, capitalising almost immediately after Liverpool went down to 10 men. Erling Haaland opened the scoring in the 65th minute, reacting quickest to a rebound inside the penalty area before driving the ball low into the net. City went on to secure the victory against the 10-man Liverpool side.
