Obiageli "Oby" Ezekwesili has joined the global call to end child marriage and invest in girls' rights on the International Day of the Girl Child. She made the call in her capacity as a member of the advisory council behind Columbia University's report "Accelerating Efforts to End Child Marriage" and as a Civil Society Representative. The day is marked annually to highlight the challenges faced by girls and promote their empowerment.
