Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has urged residents to reject election-season promises and financial inducements from politicians ahead of the 2027 general elections. Speaking at the 2nd Session of the 7th Synod of the Anglican Communion, Diocese of Aba Ngwa North, Otti, represented by his Chief of Staff, Dr. Caleb Ajagba, warned that such offers could undermine the state's future. He alleged that politicians responsible for the state's past challenges were returning to seek support and cautioned against allowing them to derail his administration's progress.
