Police in Kano State blocked members of the 'Tinubu Must Go' movement from accessing the venue of a planned meeting, leading to protests by organisers. Amnesty International Nigeria and other stakeholders condemned the police action. The incident occurred about two weeks after five men were arrested and arraigned in Maiduguri for using T-shirts with the inscription 'Tinubu Must Go'. The men pleaded not guilty to charges of criminal conspiracy, inciting disturbance, disturbance of public peace, and thuggery.
