The 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory collected a total of N2.64 trillion in Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE) tax in 2025. This represents a 40.4% increase from the N1.88 trillion collected in 2024. The figures highlight growth in tax revenue from workers' salaries.
