An Afenifere faction has called for an immediate reduction in the price of petrol to N400 per litre. The group also demanded an increase in the N70,000 minimum wage to alleviate economic hardship in Nigeria. The demands are aimed at easing the financial burden on citizens. The faction's position was made public in a statement.
