Business is booming in a small Louisiana town as a huge Meta AI data center project brings in thousands of workers

Meta is constructing its largest data center to date, called Hyperion, in northeast Louisiana's Richland Parish. At the project's peak, over 7,500 workers are expected on the construction site. Local residents are launching new businesses, such as Holy Tacos, to serve the influx of workers with disposable income. David Rodgers, cofounder of local business Ice Queen, said the development has been a good opportunity for everybody.
