TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew said at a DBS Bank conference in Singapore on Monday that many users grant permissions to AI agents without fully understanding how those agents operate. He noted that agents given credit card information to make purchases may buy more than requested. Chew advised users to be more mindful about the permissions and controls they give their AI agents. He also said TikTok is training its staff on the technology.
