Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday that Ukraine would retaliate if Moscow did not agree to the energy ceasefire announced by US President Donald Trump at the weekend. Speaking to the Warsaw Security Forum via videolink, Zelensky said Kyiv is waiting for details of the conversation between the Americans and the Russians and for specific steps the US is ready to take. Trump's announcement came two days after he declared a temporary easing of US sanctions on Russian diesel, which drew outrage from European allies and Kyiv.
