Ghana's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, met with the British High Commissioner to Ghana, Christian Rogg, on Friday 9th October 2026. They reviewed Ghana-UK bilateral relations, noting an increase in UK investments in Ghana, particularly the Takoradi port expansion project expected to commence this year. The Minister commended the UK for participating in Ghana's reparatory justice event and the Accra Reset event at the 81st UN General Assembly. They also prepared for President John Mahama's upcoming official visit to the UK and assessed arrangements for Ghana's participation in the 28th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
