A WhatsApp-based chatbot developed by Nigerian and Swiss researchers has improved practical HIV-related knowledge among people living with HIV in southwestern Nigeria. The study demonstrates the potential of digital tools in enhancing health education and management for patients. The chatbot intervention was tested among patients in the region.
