FAAC shares N2.428trn among FG, states, LGs

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has distributed N2.428 trillion among the Federal Government, state governments, and local government councils. The amount comprises N1.672 trillion in statutory revenue and N756.587 billion from Value Added Tax (VAT) for September 2026. This is higher than the N2.338 trillion shared in the previous month. Gross revenue for September stood at N3.913 trillion, with deductions for collection costs, transfers, refunds, and savings.
