The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State has pledged to deliver two million votes to President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. Commissioner for Special Duties and Humanitarian Affairs Auwalu D. Sankara made the declaration at a one-million-man march in Dutse supporting Tinubu and Governor Umar Namadi's re-election bids. Sankara said the turnout demonstrated the party's strength and attributed growing support to the leaders' people-oriented policies. He noted that former President Muhammadu Buhari secured 794,738 votes in the state in a previous election.
