The Nasarawa State chapter of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has suspended its month-long strike over financial autonomy for the state judiciary. The union's State Executive Council announced the suspension in a statement issued on Thursday, saying it would take effect from October 15, 2026. The decision followed an agreement with the Nasarawa State Government, the intervention of JUSUN National President Comrade Marwan Mustapha Adamu, and assurances from Deputy Governor Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe that the union's demands would be addressed. The statement was signed by the union's Public Relations Officer, Comrade Ogbere Zechariah, on behalf of the SEC.
