The African Diplomatic Group organized a workshop on the Non-Use of Solar Geoengineering in Limuru, Kenya, from 11 to 13 October. Representatives from member countries, including Eritrea, climate experts, and regional and international organizations attended. Participants discussed concerns that solar geoengineering could harm the climate and environment, and called for an international convention prohibiting its use. They also advocated for bans on government funding, open-air testing, and support from international organizations.
