A gas pipeline explosion occurred in Aleto community, Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State, on Thursday evening. The explosion happened around 5 pm after a pipeline belonging to the Nigeria Gas Company ruptured along Old Bori Road. No fewer than 20 people were injured and about 50 houses were razed in the incident.
