The Tinubu Support Group in the Southeast, led by former APC National Auditor Sir Paul Chukwuma, held a rally in Awka, Anambra State, to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027. Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, urged voters to support APC candidates across all levels. Chukwuma and APC senatorial candidate Uche Ekwunife also called for support for Tinubu and other party candidates. They expressed confidence that the APC would secure substantial votes in the Southeast, though some APC leaders in Anambra expressed dissatisfaction with the party's national structure.
