2027: North’s Vote Against Tinubu Will Affect Some Govs, Declares APC N’Central Group

The All Progressives Congress North Central Grassroot Mobilisation Movement for President Bola Tinubu has warned governors of the party, especially those in the northern part of the country, to stop the campaign against the re-election of President Tinubu, stating that defeat of the president would affect them and many APC governors in subsequent elections. Coordinator of the Movement, Alhaji Ibrahim Khaleel Aliyu, made the remarks in Minna while inaugurating the 25 local government arms of the organisation. He said reports indicated that some potential voters planned to dump President Tinubu in the presidential election, warning that if such plan was not neutralised, it would have negative impact on APC candidates in other elections. Khaleel argued that a defeat of the president would give opposition parties and their candidates more strength to campaign and win.
