Gombe gov buys Dangote shares for 28,284 vulnerable women

Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has released N149 million to purchase shares at the Dangote Refinery for 28,284 vulnerable women in the state. The funds are part of counterpart funding for a partnership with the Aliko Dangote Foundation. Under the arrangement, each beneficiary will receive 10 shares from the state government and an additional 10 from the foundation, totaling 20 shares per woman. The programme aims to promote financial inclusion, wealth creation, and poverty reduction across the state's 11 local government areas.
