JCN, On The Highway Africa celebrate 30 years of highway journalism

JCN Consulting and On The Highway Africa, an industry magazine dedicated to Nigeria’s transport and highway sectors, will mark 30 years of consistent highway journalism with a legacy lecture and anniversary celebration on November 3, 2026. Tagged “JCN @ 30 (1996–2026): 30 Years On The Highway,” the event will hold at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Ikeja, Lagos, beginning at 9 a.m. The celebration is expected to bring together key stakeholders from the transport, automotive, road safety, security, logistics, government, and corporate sectors to reflect on three decades of highway journalism and examine the future of safe and sustainable mobility in Nigeria and Africa. The anniversary lecture will address critical issues affecting the highway sector, including road infrastructure, traffic congestion, road safety, emergency rescue services, and Nigeria’s transition towards Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered mobility.
