A workshop organised under the European Union Support to ECOWAS in Peace, Security and Governance (EPSG) Project brought together journalists from different media platforms and states, including Lagos, Enugu, Edo and Oyo. The training was conducted by a Spanish group and Fact Check Nigeria, focusing on indigenous-language reporting. The workshop was held ahead of the 2027 general election. It aimed to equip journalists with skills for reporting in indigenous languages.
