The Nigerian Railway Corporation has denied involvement in alleged ticket racketeering on the Abuja-Kaduna Train Service. The denial follows a viral social media report accusing the corporation of creating artificial scarcity to facilitate resale of tickets at inflated prices. The NRC Managing Director, Dr Kayode Opeifa, described the report as libellous and reflective of a lack of understanding of ticket sales issues. The report was made in a video by blogger Faizah Raji.
