Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has blamed the owner of a petrol tanker for an explosion in the Oluku area of Benin City. The governor said the owner transferred fuel to another tanker without taking necessary safety precautions. The explosion occurred on Thursday along the Benin-Lagos Road in Ovia North-East Local Government Area. Okpebholo expressed sadness over the incident, stating it could have been avoided.
