Over 30 affiliate sociopolitical groups in Kwara State, under the Oniyangi Progressive Alliance (OPA), have pledged to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the state. The alliance also declared support for the governorship ambition of a Kwara State House of Assembly member. The groups made the commitment ahead of the 2027 general elections. They aim to ensure victory for the APC in the state.
