The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested Faisal Abdulrasheed Maina, the fugitive son of former Pension Reform Task Team Chairman Abdulrasheed Maina. Faisal was apprehended in the Karsana area of Abuja after secretly returning to the country. He has been handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Faisal had been on the run since 2020 and was convicted in absentia in 2021 on money laundering and conspiracy charges, receiving a 14-year prison sentence.
