NJ Ayuk, Executive Chairman of the African Energy Chamber, has called on African governments to accelerate oil and gas exploration and expand energy infrastructure. Speaking at African Energy Week, he urged an 'all-of-the-above' energy strategy that includes oil, gas, and renewables to address energy poverty. Ayuk emphasized that Africa should resist external pressure to leave its hydrocarbon resources undeveloped while millions lack reliable electricity.
