The Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) inspected the controlled demolition of the structurally distressed Great Nigeria Insurance House on Lagos Island, Lagos. The inspection followed an earlier public advisory on the controlled demolition of the building. The Great Nigeria Insurance House had been declared structurally distressed. The demolition is being carried out in a controlled manner on Lagos Island.
