Ejike Patrick Ide, a lecturer at Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), is currently on study leave pursuing a PhD in Biological and Agricultural Engineering at the University of Georgia in the United States. He earned his BEng and MEng in Agricultural Engineering from ESUT. His research focuses on biogricultural engineering. Ide recalled that as a child, he watched his parents' farm produce go to waste due to inadequate processing and storage facilities.
