Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babachir Lawal has claimed that former President Muhammadu Buhari delayed Vice President Yemi Osinbajo's appointment memo for three months. Lawal alleged that Buhari questioned the nominees' Yoruba identity and their affiliation with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). The claims were made in a recent interview.
