In a statement commemorating the 2026 World Food Day in Umuahia, Anosike paid tribute to farmers and emphasized that food is a basic human necessity, urging that agriculture be treated as a strategic instrument for food security, job creation, poverty reduction, and wealth generation. He called on government to provide practical support to farmers through access to affordable inputs and other interventions.
