The spokesperson for former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has rejected claims made by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, about Osinbajo. Lawal had alleged that former President Muhammadu Buhari considered Osinbajo's decision to seek the presidency in 2022 "immoral" and that Osinbajo submitted a memo with over 20 names of proposed staff, which was allegedly delayed by the president's chief of staff. The spokesperson described the claims as false.
