Nigeria's Golden Eaglets were held to a 1-1 draw by Ivory Coast at the Stade du 4-Août in Ouagadougou and crashed out of the WAFU-B U17 Championship. The exit means Nigeria will miss the 2027 U17 AFCON scheduled for Morocco. Nigeria finished bottom of Group B with one point from two matches, behind Ivory Coast and group winners Niger. Columbus Igboenyobe's late strike cancelled Alex Bamba's early goal in a match the Ivorians largely dominated.
