Nigeria international Akor Adams scored a second-half winner as Venezia defeated Napoli 1-0 in their Serie A fixture in Venice. Adams struck four minutes into the second half, reaching a long ball forward first and sending in a deflected shot beyond the goalkeeper. It was his second league goal of the season, and Venezia kept their first clean sheet of the campaign. The win was Venezia's first against Napoli in any competition in 23 years and their first Serie A victory over the former champions in the 21st century.
