Political economist Prof. Pat Utomi has said that while he cannot guarantee that Prof. Anthony Kila has never made mistakes, it is unfair to suggest that Kila has never attended school. Utomi made the statement on his verified Facebook page in Lagos on Saturday, describing Kila as a good man. He said there is no evidence to support the claim that Kila never went to school. The remarks follow an October investigative report by Premium Times alleging that Kila falsified his bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees and his rank as a professor.
