Local hunters killed two suspected bandits and recovered ₦10 million in ransom in Falgore Forest, Doguwa Local Government Area of Kano State. According to a police statement signed by CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the kidnapped victim, 45-year-old Kabiru Aliyu of Falgore Village, was released unharmed after the ransom was collected. The incident occurred around midnight on Saturday when three suspected bandits emerged from the forest to collect the money. The victim had been kidnapped on September 11, 2026, and spent several days in captivity.
