The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has taken the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to court over the alleged mismanagement of N126 billion. According to a report, the funds were meant for procuring ballot boxes, electoral devices, sensitive materials, result sheets, vehicles, and accreditation devices. The case is connected to preparations for the 2027 elections.
