Afrinvest has repaid an undocumented $1 million investment made by Tony Elumelu after the 2008 financial crisis, including interest. Elumelu said the repayment has reinforced his belief that trust, when honoured, can unlock business growth. He added that the development could encourage more Africans to invest in promising entrepreneurs.
