The Office of the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Grassroots Sports Development has confirmed that the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG) will serve as technical partners for a sports summit scheduled for November 18 and 19 at the Banquet Hall of Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja. Prince Adeyinka Adeboye, the SSA on Grassroots Sports, stated that his office has held several meetings with the NESG ahead of the two-day event. He said the summit, which has President Tinubu's approval, would attract major stakeholders from within and outside the country and draw a new road map for sports in Nigeria.
