Senator Diket Plang, who represents Plateau Central Senatorial District, has dismissed concerns over the emerging opposition coalition ahead of the 2027 general election. Speaking during an interactive session with journalists in Jos, the Plateau State capital, Plang said the opposition's efforts came too late. He maintained that the All Progressives Congress had already consolidated its political structures, expanded its reach and strengthened its alliances across the country. According to him, developments within the ruling party indicated that the APC remained firmly positioned ahead of the next electoral cycle.
