The Federal Government, through the Rural Electrification Agency, has commissioned a 1MW solar mini-grid integrated with additional capacity in Gombe State. The project forms part of a 16MW solar mini-grid initiative aimed at improving electricity access in the state. The commissioning was carried out under the REA's rural electrification programme.
