United States President Donald Trump endorsed his ally Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of Israel's parliamentary election on October 27. Netanyahu, in a video released by his Likud party, highlighted his close relationship with Trump and said re-election would allow them to work together to eliminate the Iranian threat. The endorsement comes less than two weeks before Israel's first vote since the October 7, 2023 Hamas-led attack. Polls indicate Netanyahu is in a tight election race.
