The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has cautioned universities against issuing admission letters to candidates seeking entry into their institutions. Registrar Prof. Segun Aina made the warning while receiving a delegation from Veritas University, Bwari, Abuja, on a courtesy visit. He stated that JAMB is the only body statutorily empowered to issue official admission letters to candidates seeking entry into tertiary institutions, including universities, polytechnics and colleges of education. He urged institutions guilty of the practice to desist from it.
