Plateau State has recorded 11,000 tuberculosis cases in 2026, according to the state's Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control Programme. Yohanna Bot, the programme's monitoring and evaluation officer, disclosed the figures. Of the total, 2,047 cases were detected within three months.
