Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) governorship candidate in Bauchi State for the 2027 general elections, has resigned from the party. Kashim announced his resignation in a letter dated October 16, 2026, addressed to the NDC chairman in Bauchi Local Government Area. In the letter, he formally informed the party leadership of his decision.
