The Nigerian Air Force has reported significant progress in dewatering operations at the site of the crashed ATR 42-500 aircraft, NAF 931, in Igbokoda, Ondo State, as recovery efforts entered their 14th day on Monday. According to Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, continuous pumping had substantially reduced the water level at the crash site. Efforts are also ongoing to reinforce the embankment with sandbags to prevent collapse and maintain stability during the dewatering process. The NAF stated that the operation requires sustained engineering and water-removal efforts under challenging conditions.
