The National Horticultural Research Institute (NIHORT) in Ibadan has celebrated the selection of one of its scientists, Dr. Gbemisola Okunlola, for the inaugural cohort of the Gender Responsive Research for Optimised Women-Led Breeding Systems (GROW) Fellowship. The fellowship is run by the African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD). Dr. Okunlola is among 50 women breeders selected for the cohort.
