Food Security: 235,567 Farmers Benefit as Kwara Gov Flags-off Distribution of Inputs, Support

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has launched the distribution of 49,337 additional agricultural inputs, productive assets and processing equipment to local farmers and vulnerable households under FADAMA CARES 2.0, a World Bank-supported NG-CARES programme. The initiative brings the total number of beneficiaries to 235,567, following 186,230 people who benefited earlier. The governor said the support is aimed at boosting food security and helping farmers cope with challenges.
