Comrade Akhator Joel Odigie, General Secretary of the African Regional Organisation of the International Trade Union Confederation, has explained his view that electricity privatisation is undermining Africa's industrialisation and job creation prospects. He argued that privatised electricity cannot drive industrialisation or create jobs on the continent. Odigie made the position in an interview.
