‘APC has more problems within’  -  Ndume affirms Shettima’s fear

Senator Ali Ndume, representing Borno South, has backed Vice President Kashim Shettima's concern about internal divisions within the All Progressives Congress (APC). Ndume stated that the ruling party faces more problems within its ranks than from the opposition. He noted that while opposition parties may be resilient and vocal ahead of the 2027 general elections, the struggle for power and focus on personalities rather than ideas are more troubling. He added that politicians across party lines largely share similar backgrounds, with differences often driven by political platforms and the pursuit of power.
